Sherrell Straker- Valdezloqui is no longer intimidated by the unkown or the things that appear to be giants standing in the front of her.  Now she is all about her Father's business and a take-charge business-woman who's building an empire soley to encourage and empower men and women to flourish in their purpose.  She is a God fearing ordained Evangelist, wife, mother, writer and media personality.  Sherrell is all about showing others how to balance ministry, career and family.

 

She is the founder of Promoting Purpose LLC, a christian base media company that currently publishes two faith base publications. Promoting Purpose and Promoting Purpose Women magazine, both online and print on demand in which she also serves as the Editor in Chief. She is also the author of Poems of Prayers, Purposeful Living Restoring Your Faith and Hurting Women. Before becaming a publisher or starting the vision God had given her as a business woman, Sherrell  served 6 years in the United States Army 4 of which she served as a food service specialist and 2 as a human resource specialist. Although no longer in the army Sherrell still is a part of the community and now supports the military as a military spouse. 

 

Sherrell has appeared on several radio and television shows, including (CBS 6) Good Morning Virgina, Gospel Central Music Video, The Gospel Touch, and a host of others. Sherrell has a full plate, but ensures that everything is balanced and in order to remain in order with God. Sherrell currently resides in Fort Riley, Kansas with her husband Felix and their three beautiful children.
